World's first nuclear fusion device - ITER

India's biggest contribution for International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).

India and France are working on cryostat for reactor.

Cryostat maintain the extremely low temperature and vacuum conditions needed for the fusion reaction within to be sustained.

ITER is going to ready with the effort of 35 contries for producing electricity as commercial purposes by 2045.

9% of the $25 billion project is being borne by india.
