APPLE hololens

Apple is working in this product and this will be ready for shipping by 2020.

It is not a standalone device, will need to be paired with a phone for content sharing.

Having said that the AR, element in this will be replacing the screen element as we know it. Also, apart from just, being a projection device, apple is also investing in sensors, apple kit, this allows developers to develop apps as if today. IKEA has worked with apple in this space, but uses a mobile phone.

Having said that, little reality check is also important. Google tried the same, just stuck with developers. Microsoft Holo Lens is an amazing product, limited to indoors. So it is a wait and a watch game as of now.
